We are an independent design studio, delivering creative solutions that connect you with your audience

Working across all aspects of graphic design, our current areas of focus are: editorial design, branded communications, event and exhibition design.

Based in East London our team is purposefully small so that you always know who you are working with, and  allows us to respond to the demands of each job, calling upon additional skilled creatives when needed.

We work closely with you to best understand your needs. This enables us to deliver appropriate, effective and creative design solutions.

Our links with globally renowned art colleges, coupled with commercial experience in delivering design solutions, helps place us at the forefront of creative thinking.

Oswin Tickler

Founder & Creative Director

Formerly Head of Design at the Labour Party, Oswin founded Smallfury in 2011. Somehow on top of his duties here he also finds time to be an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins. More on Oswin’s teaching

When not in the studio or teaching, he’ll usually be found cycling across town, tracking down magazines, visiting shows, or documenting what others might term “good ugly”

  • In every case his work has been inventive, eye-catching, practical and top-quality. We regularly refer to him for advice and guidance and every member of the team enjoys working with him

Toby Fox, CEO of 3Fox international

  • Innovative and original, yet utterly professional and dependable.

Val Palmer, Central Saint Martins College, University of The Arts London

  • Oswin is an excellent image driven designer and equally adept at working as a graphic design tutor. Having had the pleasure of working with him both in academic environs and well as working collaboratively upon graphic design projects, I’ve got nothing but good to say about his work, his professional demeanor and focus.
