We are an East-London based design studio, delivering creative solutions that connect you with your audience

Smallfury work across all aspects of graphic design. Our current areas of focus are: editorial design, branded communications, event and exhibition design.

We work with universities, publishers and brands to deliver creative solutions across design, education and strategy.

We work closely with you to best understand your needs. This ensures that we deliver appropriate and effective solutions.

Our team is purposefully small so that you always know who you are working with. This approach also enables us to respond to the demands of each job, calling upon additional skilled creatives when required.

Our links with globally renowned art colleges, coupled with commercial experience in delivering design solutions, helps place us at the forefront of creative thinking.

Oswin Tickler

Formerly Head of Design at the Labour Party, Oswin founded Smallfury in 2011. On top of his duties here he also finds time to be an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, and London College of Communication.

More on Oswin’s teaching

When not in the studio or teaching, he’ll probably be found cycling across London, tracking down magazines, visiting shows, or photographing what others might term “ugly”.

  • In every case his work has been inventive, eye-catching, practical and top-quality. We regularly refer to him for advice and guidance and every member of the team enjoys working with him

Toby Fox, CEO of 3Fox international

  • Innovative and original, yet utterly professional and dependable.

Val Palmer, Central Saint Martins College, University of The Arts London

  • Oswin is an excellent image driven designer and equally adept at working as a graphic design tutor. Having had the pleasure of working with him both in academic environs and well as working collaboratively upon graphic design projects, I’ve got nothing but good to say about his work, his professional demeanor and focus.
